USING & SHARING

Your EZ Biz Card™ is a website that functions like an application, giving you/them 3 EZ choices, none of which require app stores, app store passwords, app downloads, or registrations:

First (and “EZ est”) Option:  The first time you/they go to your EZ Biz Card™ a pop up will appear at the bottom of the screen asking if you/they want to add YOUR NAME’s Biz card to their home screen.

Once you/they click “ADD”, another pop up appears confirming the request and then our icon with YOUR NAME (up to 12 characters) will be saved right on their phone’s home screen.  It’s EZ!!!

Again, there is nothing to sign up for and there are no forms/registrations to fill out, iPhone users will NOT be prompted to visit the app store or have to remember a password.  

Second Option:  Since it’s a website with a typical URL

(www.myezbizcard.com/yourname)

you/they can simply save the weblink to the home screen.

Click HERE for EZ instructions for both Android & Apple devices.  At your request, this image can be added or removed at the very bottom of your EZ Biz Card™ page.

Third Option:  Bookmark the URL to your “Favorites/Bookmarks Bar” on any device!

ALSO:  THEY CAN CLICK, “ADD ME TO CONTACTS” FOR A STANDARD VCARD DOWNLOAD!

That’s the best part!  There are so many different options:

Scroll to the bottom of your EZ Biz Card™ and look for the words, “Share My Card”.

Right below that you will see 5 icons:  Facebook, Email, WhatsApp, SMS/Text, and Facebook Messenger.

When you click on either one of these the associated app (including your phone’s texting app) will open up and automatically populate your message including your custom URL

in the body of the message/post.  All you have to do is choose the contact to send it to (or type their contact details in, if new) and click send/submit/post.  That’s it…it’s EZ!!!

OR…Just give them your URL and they can type it into any browser on any device.

OR…Email it to them like you would any web link.

OR…Have them scan the included QR code right off of your phone.

OR…Put the QR code on your website, side of your card, print ads, etc.

OR…Use our FREE and AWESOME tool that allows you to generate a custom email signature (works with any email service) that also embeds link right to your EZ Biz Card™ at the bottom of every email you send out!

EZ!  The exact same way you did, as outlined in the question above!  Super EZ!!!

SALES & SUBSCRIPTIONS

No…but sort of.  Technically, EZ Biz Card™ is a PWA (Progressive Web App), which means it is a hybrid between a website and a “native app”.

This allows us to specifically optimize it for use on cell phones and give it some key app style functionalities, the most important of which is the pop up which prompts visitors to save your site to their phone like an app but with no downloads, no registrations, and no visits to the app store or entering passwords, etc.

Each EZ Biz Card™ is a CUSTOM built website/web app (not webpage, a standalone website + web app hybrid) and we pay U.S. based workers for the initial build as well as for ongoing revisions.  

There are also several PAID plugins (licensed software extensions) incorporated into each individual EZ Biz Card™ site that are necessary for it to function properly and that require an annual subscription payment for continued use.

The annual fee also helps maintain your data in a 100% secure environment, keeps your website/app working properly, keeps it loading quickly, and provides daily back up for retrieval in the event of a hack/attack.

We simply can’t make money AND provide awesome designs AND maintain secure, fast functionality AND give excellent U.S. based customer support without appropriate cash flow.  

Each EZ Biz Card™ is a CUSTOM built website/web app (not webpage, a standalone website + web app hybrid) and we pay U.S. based workers for the initial build as well as for ongoing revisions.  

There are several PAID plugins (licensed software extensions) incorporated into each individual EZ Biz Card™ site that are necessary for it to function properly and that require a per build payment for use.

We simply can’t make money AND provide awesome designs AND excellent U.S. based customer support without appropriate cash flow.  

Our services are prepaid 12 months in advance and are non-refundable but there are no long term commitments.

Once you cancel, your site would be deactivated either at the time you request or after the prepaid period lapses, whichever comes first.

If you change jobs, you will likely want to change all of your pictures, your color scheme, your buttons & button icons, and your links in which case there is a flat, one-time $29 revision fee.

After acceptance of the initial build, standard free revisions (once per month) are included for the following:

Header Image, Headshot, Personal Quote, Job Title, Contact Phone Number, Email, Button Link Data (example: new Facebook page URL), Videos (NOT uploads), Content In the About & Dropdown Menus, & Testimonials (content only)

A $29 revision fee applies when requesting to change your Theme/Layout, Colors (background, navigation buttons, menu buttons), Menu Button Icons & Associated Links, or Pictures Other Than Header or Headshot.

Your renewal date and renewal amount would stay the same.

BUILD, SETUP, & GETTING STARTED

You will be assigned a designer who will email you a link to a form that takes 5 minutes to fill out, provided you have your pictures chosen and ready for upload. 

You fill out that form and upload your pictures then we take it from there! EZ!!!

We do not upload or host ANY files other than the pictures you provide (.jpg, .png, .gif ONLY) plus the Vcard (.vcf file) and the QR code image both of which will be created by us for security reasons.

Any other files you want to link to from your account MUST be hosted elsewhere.  We ONLY setup links to those files on your EZ Biz Card™ URL.

Videos must be hosted on third parties servers.  We prefer either YouTube or Vimeo but can work with any credible video hosting platform.  You simply provide us the URL link(s).

Currently, 1 to 3 business days, Monday through Friday for Individual & Team MEMBER subscriptions. Team & Brand subscriptions take 3 to 7 days.

All subscription times are subject to the subscriber providing the necessary details and files in a timely manner.

The estimated turnaround time begins AFTER we have received said files and instructions.

Nope.  We will keep revising until you are satisfied within the bounds of fairness and reason.

INDIVIDUAL FEATURES

Individuals & Standard Team Accounts get a short quote, a couple of sentences to a long paragraph in the about me section, two toggle/accordion menus (which can have tons of WRITTEN content), & one video.

Pictures= one header image + one headshot + choice of either carousel (max 10 pics) or collage (max 10 pics) or one picture spliced into 9 sections “Instagram Style”

Upgraded Team Accounts do include extra sections for more toggle/accordion content, pictures, and videos.

We can also offer additional customization for a very reasonable fee determined on a case by case basis.

RE: Video- We don’t host videos because that would significantly drain our server resources and pose a security threat.  When linking to video hosts like YouTube or Vimeo there are processes that have to run before your page can load and video links are a significant cause of slower loading times.  Ergo, it’s also a performance issue…YOUR visitors won’t stick around if your site loads too slowly.

RE: Pictures- 1) Server resources vs. our discounted prices.  2) Each picture can slow down load times.  3) Each picture begins to add up in labor costs to optimize it, crop it, resize it, upload it, and place on your site.

Yes. We are willing to customize on a case by case basis for a very reasonable charge but we can only offer so much extra content per subscription regardless of potential compensation.

No.  EZ Biz Card™ is a specific type of templated offering that is limited to one page and a finite amount of server resources per subscription.  You can, for an additional fee, add a few extra sections of video, pictures, and/or written content.

For the most part, yes!  It’s your design and although you do have a limited number of page elements, we are happy to rearrange them in any order you would like with only a couple of exceptions.

You can put video at the top BUT we can not make your headshot overlay it in the same way that we can a static image.

The short answer is no.  We will make some exceptions. One extra picture instead of the form or the video or something along those lines.

Adding another video section is only available for a reasonable additional fee to be determined on a case by case basis.

No.  You can, however, link to downloadable content on other websites which would function the same way as far as your visitors are concerned.  We just do NOT host or upload files on our servers to maintain resources and avoid security risks.

No.  Payment transactions require server and hosting verifications as well as custom plugins and development that would pose both an expensive time suck as well as a security risk to us.

However, you can make it 99% a sales page but you will need to link to a final landing page offsite to conduct the actual a transaction.  

Also, our product is developed and sold by 9th Street Media, a full service digital marketing and web development company.  We would be happy to discuss setting up a special landing page with ecommerce functionality.

During the setup process we send you to a link where you fill out a form and then click “generate” to create your vcard file.  This way you can make sure it is accurate and only includes the details you want made public.

We then upload that file onto your EZ Biz Card™ and program it to download to a user’s phone when they click on the “Add Me To Contacts” button.

TEAM ACCOUNTS

If you are an employee of a company or a member of any organization that has a Team Account and you are looking to get the discounted subscription that limits you to using their Team Template instead of complete customization like a standard account, then you can either ask the Team Account owner for your team’s branded link.

Or, you can look for the section in the footer (bottom) of our website titled, “IMPORTANT”, and click on the link that says, “Team/Brand Members”.  A payment window will open up and there will be a field asking you for your organizations name.  Note:  This option may slow down the delivery of your EZ Biz Card™ while we find and verify your Team Account and, if applicable, send the order to your Team’s Dedicated Account Manager.

If you are one of the Team subscribers and you are on an account that has opted to have each of their members purchase and pay for their subscriptions individually (as opposed to us sending them an invoice where they pay on your behalf) then your account will remain active until you cancel and, even then, through the end of your prepaid period unless you tell us to deactivate.  

If, however, you are on an account where the company/organization pays the bill for you then your EZ Biz Card™ will deactivate at the end of the prepaid period.  We can, upon request, transfer you to a discounted subscription of your own BUT you can only change templates on a full subscription so you would be stuck with the look of your EZ Biz Card™ at the time of Team Account termination.

OR, you can pay the then current setup fee + one year prepaid service for a personal account and we would credit you the remaining time, if any, that was left on the Team Account subscription. 

Upon failed renewal, existing team members will not lose service nor will they have to worry about a price increase.   However, new team members will no longer have access to the discounted monthly template.

If you are the Team Account Owner, you must activate your subscription on your team plan PRIOR to the expiration date of your current prepaid period and pay whatever the monthly fee is for your team OR transfer your account over to a standard account at the then current rate.  If you fail to do so, your subscription that was included “FREE” in the Team Account will be terminated and your EZ Biz Card™ will deactivate. 

EZ Biz Card™ is NOT responsible for the dissolution of a company or organization or for any internal conflicts among employees or members.  As such, your account is prepaid and non-refundable.  Apologies.

Note:  Your subscription will remain active through the end of the prepaid term and, per the answer to the question, “What if the Team Account Owner doesn’t renew?”, you can maintain your subscription if your team/brand stays in existence or upgrade to a personal account!  See that Q & A for more specifics.

On a standard account, the subscriber has complete control of all images, web links, download links, video links, social media page links, colors, templates, etc. and may change their pertinent details at any time.

Subscribers on a Team Account may only change their phone, email, WhatsApp #, job title, headshot, and personal landing Team landing page.  Members must use whatever layout, pictures, web links, and social media links as are designated by the Team Account Owner .

If you are on a Standard Team Subscription ($98 Year)  then during the initial build you will have direct access to one of our designers until you sign off on the initial build. 

After that, if changes are needed, you would simply go to our CONTACT US PAGE and fill out the form titled, “Revision Request Form”.  One of our designers will get it done for you ASAP!

If, however, you are the owner or administrator of a Team Account on either the “Branded Domain” or “100% White Label” plans and you need revisions to your Team’s template, please contact your Dedicated Account Manager.  If you don’t know how to do that, contact support.  Thanks.

Note:  You MUST cancel BEFORE the automatic renewal date (exactly 365 days from date of original purchase and every 365 days thereafter) or no refund will be given.
